Conducted within the school on a date chosen by the school. All participating students receive a Certificate of Participation.

Awarded to every single participating student, without exception.

Only Level 1 medallists can participate. For example, all Level 1 medallists of Class 3 from different schools compete against each other.

How It Works

From registration to results

A clear, transparent five-step process designed to be simple for schools to manage.

School Registers

Fill and courier the form, or scan and email it to MON.

Date Selection

School chooses one available date; each date has its own paper set.

Exam Conducted

MCQ examination on OMR sheets, in English, with no negative marking.

OMR Dispatch

Sheets must reach BFN Head Office within 7 days of the exam date.

05

Results Declared

Announced about 5 weeks later, sent to schools and uploaded on the website.

Frequently Asked

Questions schools ask us most

No. Students can register only through their schools. Direct registrations are not accepted under any circumstances.

Schools can register in two ways — fill out and courier the registration forms, or fill out, scan and email the registration forms to MON.

All MON Olympiads are conducted in English. All questions are multiple choice questions (MCQs) and there is no negative marking. Exams are conducted on OMR sheets.

The school must choose one available date to conduct the exam. Different dates are available for each exam, and a different set of question papers is provided for each date.

OMR sheets should be returned to the BFN Head Office within 7 days of the exam date. MON will not evaluate any answer sheets received after the deadline.

Results are announced about 5 weeks after the answer sheets are received. They are sent to the respective schools and are also uploaded on the MON website.

Only Level 1 medallists can participate in Level 2 (Zonal). Similarly, only Level 2 medallists can participate in Level 3 (National). Competition is always class-wise and Olympiad-wise.
